Ballyseede Castle is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay if you choose to be close to the celebrations.
If you would prefer to stay more centrally in Killarney (30 mins) or Tralee (8 mins), you’ll find other accommodation recommendations below.
However, if you would like to stay at the Castle, 45 bedrooms including a 5-bedroom Gate Lodge are available to book at our exclusive guest rates.

Ballyseede Wedding Guests - Exclusive Rates
There are plenty of rooms available for the 18th of July (1-night stay) and a limited number for the 17th and 18th (2-night stay).
The hotel has held 30 rooms for our guests until a few months before July.
There is another wedding taking place the night before (the 17th), and the hotel is also holding a block of 30 rooms for that wedding. This means there are currently fewer rooms available for that night. However, any rooms not taken up by their guests may be released closer to the date, just as any unbooked rooms from our own room block will be released.
Some guests are choosing to stay in Killarney for two nights as the ceremony and day two take place there. We will organise transport back.
Alternative Accommodation
Many guests are choosing to stay closer to the Cathedral in Killarney on Friday night and to enjoy a longer stay in Kerry. Alternatively, you may wish to stay in the heart of Tralee, eight minutes from Ballyseede.
If you're travelling without a car (which we recommend for a short stay so you can enjoy a 🍸), both towns offer fantastic accommodation options, rail, and other transport links with easy access and plenty of charm. Both towns have hair salons, makeup counters, and and high street shops 💄✨💅.

Yes it does- you’ll easily grab a taxi via Uber/Free Now in the main towns. In Currow Village, you may need to book a taxi through a local taxi service.

Please let us know on the RSVP Section if you are not driving - we are gathering numbers for a Wedding Bus or taxis.
As well as Uber, Free Now, and occassional Local Link buses, we will also organise a Whatsapp lift share group if you need support getting to-and-from accommodations outside of wedding hours.
If you would like to join us and have a drink on Day 2 but also head home for work on Monday- come without a car! Get the train home from Killarney or Tralee.

The hotel will release any unreserved rooms 8 weeks prior to the wedding day, however we envisage they will book out well in advance.

If you’re making a short trip, choosing public transport gives you the option to enjoy a drink with us early on Day Two and still head home that evening by train/plane.
Driving to the wedding the same day from Dublin can be quite tiring too! And the drive home is a long one. Bear this in mind when making your decision!
If you’re making a longer holiday of it, a car would be a fantastic way to explore Kerry on your own schedule and explore wild, out of reach places.
